the buffet of blogs

while loving that ABC just mentioned that Va Tech lost to the almighty Jayhawks in the Orange Bowl, I got a lot on the cranium....

Noticed that Mangino got on TR5 a bit last week about running too much, and so for whatever reason I watched his high school highlight videos, most likely the same videos that Mangino watched and that led to TR5 being offered a schollie. In said video's Todd$ tucks the rock a TON and runs with it and does so very well. You may remember and if you were on the TR train like some dude I know before the Colorado game 2 years ago, you do, but in said game he had a huge play by tucking it and running it. the reason I believe he stayed in the pocket more last year was because his line played like a shit and he didn't have to run for his life, thanks interior linemen, and you'll remember last year TR5 tweaked a wheel and didn't run as much after that.

This year he's operating on a healthy wheel, so he's better at the tuck and run, his line sucks ass, so its necessary for survival and he's been playing all year without one of his most reliable WR's in Dexton Fields so he doesn't have as many options or more that he doesn't have as many proven reliable options.
It'll be interesting to see if this trend continues or if he hangs in the pocket more and fires bullets to the KM and friends.

So its been nice to see a bunch of ranked teams shit the bed today and knowing that we might move up 2 spots. I decided today that it doesn't matter what others do, we need to win football games, but every week we are ranked and the high the better the more it helps us with recruiting, and there is nothing else that is more important to building and maintaining a program than recruiting, so the higher we are in the polls the better, but if we don't go take care of business in Ames it won't matter much.

I'm going to go ahead and say that I love Nebraska getting booed at home, fags, and that KU needs to lock up McKay from Miege, soon. Dude is a Junior WR now, but he is a man amongst boys, OU was in to look at him last week and KU was at his game last night, the guy has a different gear and he has measureables that will make you drool. I caught a bit of his game last night and watched him take a screen pass and basically give a big FU to the entire D, kid is a player and would be great in our offense in a couple of years.

Speaking of our O in a couple of years, I know th LJW has run 2 articles on Kale Pick being the next TR, and while he may be the next TR, and he likes the Braves and Longhorn steakhouse, so he sounds good and is good, we can't simply hand him the keys to the Escalade that is our O.
Not when we have Jordan Webb as a recruit, the guy is a TR clone and is tearing up his senior year in HS, he is also playing in a very similar set to the one we currently run so his learning curve should be less drastic than most.
How freaking awesome is it to have an assorted lot of good/great QB's that can lead this offense, its good is the answer for those of you scoring at home.

Week 4 thoughts-
OU is going to be tough as a mother fucker
K-St will be the worst D we play against all year
NU is not goo, (yes grammar police, they are not goo, I purposely did not include the D) we should win that game by 21
Missouri is ripe to get their anuses massaged by Texas and then get the lining of their anus ripped apart by the TR5 party

Not football related goodness, driving down College the other day and had some prick on his bkue suzuki crotch rocket pass me with his bike and his 2 inch dick, I said to myself what a fag, but much to my surprise captain fagbag fucked his bike up and was on the shoulder of 69 with a bike that was smoking and broken, funny how God hates douche bags, good for him, so here's to you captain fagbag douche nuts with your cool bike, you can drive really past but you pee on your balls so you lose.
