Saturday

KU - NU 3PM

Saturday is an interesting day because it presents a lot of potential.
See -

Lance Stephenson is visiting. Lance is a 6-5 guy built like a man and he hails from Brooklyn, and I love Brooklyn.
He's the #9 rated recruit in the class of 09 according to Rivals and #1 according to other services.
So it'll be interesting to see how that all goes, I can't really comment on it or discuss it because he never does interviews so I have no idea what he is thinking or where he is leaning, if I had to take a guess, I'd guess KU has a better than 50% chance at landing him.

*Here's the double weird thing about Lance Stephenson if he were to come to KU, we would need to have 3 people leave KU or give up scholly's for him to be on scholarship, so that leaves the following scenarios that are likely.
1- Collins leaves - has a kid to support- although that's being rather presumptuous. I think the chances of him leaving are higher than 50%
2- Cole leaves - I think this is gonna happen. And this is okay because Withey will be eligible at the semester next year
3- Someone transfers or there's a situation like with Moulaye Niang where they have an injury that makes them unable to compete any longer.

Also on Saturday, KU football will be having its annual Junior Day. Last year Junior day was a Zoo with all the animals.

(note while I'm typing this the KU-Indiana game is being dubbed- and I am remembering how worthless Sean Pearson was)

Anyway Junior Day is going to be HUGE for Mangino- he's got a myriad of studs coming in. Usually Junior day doesn't yield an immediate commit but it does help and I expect tomorrow to do that.

Remember this will be the first Junior Day where the new facilities are up and open. Also this will be the first Junior day with Bill Miller on the staff and he has a good rep for recruiting and him and Sims are certainly upgrades from the two guys before them.

-I'LL SAY IT NOW, THE 2010 CLASS WILL BE THE BEST EVER AT KU-

Onto the key to tomorrow-
The game.
KU has to win tomorrow to keep alive any hope of winning the conference and you have to win at the Field House.
Looking forward to it tomorrow. All tomorrow does is set up the future to be brighter in a number of ways.
