A more coherent list of reasons you should go to Lawrence

This e-mail sneaked its way onto my blackberry on Sunday and I needed to share it with people, and if you've never had a grilled krispy kreme then you haven't lived, 5-1 here we come, without further pause from the chef of the baddest tailgate in the land...

Calling all KU Football fans to Lawrence, Kansas this coming Saturday!

Top 10 Reasons to attend KU vs. CU:

1. Preliminary weather forecast calling for partly cloudy skies and 66 degrees.
2. Big 12 home opener...or as the opposing coach Dan Hawkins would say..."IT'S THE BIG 12!...IT'S NOT INTRAMURALS!!"
3. A shot at lucky 13...as in # of consecutive home victories...yes, Memorial Stadium is turning in quite the lion's den. You are a witness.
4. 11:30 a.m. kickoff = grilled Krispy Kremes.
5. Ressing to Meier is quickly becoming the most potent pass-catch combination in the nation.
6. CU's mascot, Ralphie, served up Biscuits & Gravy style. That's right...Buffalo sausage!
7. Saturdays in October are dedicated to College Football...NOT yard work, golf, or Bed, Bath, and Beyond.
8. Bloodys and Screwdrivers and Mimosas..Oh My!
9. RIVERA!!! He's baaaack...(to be read by the late Carol Anne from Poltergeist)
10. As always...First Down is Third Down!

See you Saturday.

(bloggers note: as of 1PM, according to the gal at 1-800-34-HAWKS, this game is NOT NOT soldout)
