Newest football Jayhawk?

It looks like midweek visitor Daniel Porter, 6-0 200LB, could be the newest Jayhawk.
Its being reported but can't be confirm.

Porter is a Juco) that would be eligible to play this fall.
This is probably a good sign that Joc Crawford has played his last snap at KU and also the staff is playing it safe and not counting on a freshman or a coming back from injury Rell Lewis to give Sharpie a break.

The question I get after almost every commit, especially in football is this "Stud?"

I would say no. If he is going to be a Jayhawk the only reason he's coming in is to be a safety valve, no more no less and if Opurum beats him out, which I expect to happen, he'll be there for depth and maybe he can get on Special Teams and make a tackle or two or a key block and that'd be satisfactory.
