Baseball- Skutt is in the house

Friday didn't go so well for our baseball Hawks as they lost to the mildcats 4-1 and since the KcStar decided not to bring the paper today I have no clue where that leaves us in the Big 12.

Saturday's game has gotten off to a great start with KU up 4-1 in the third and knocking out k-sucks starter in the 3rd before he retired a single batter. Buck Afneir helped the cause as the Senior hit a 2 run bomb in the 4th to push the lead out to 7-1.

KU marched out a VJ and Angela Skutt Catholic High Skyhawk and he (Walz) gets off to a strong start and strikes out 7 in the first 3 innings and 12 through 5 innings for a new career high in K's.

Bullpen finishes it out and KU wins 9-3. Now let's go give the Seniors a day they'll never forget and win the series.
