He was being recruited by Metamucil in Manhattan, Colorado and Stanford.
Don't know much about him, but with the small number of scholarships it seems real weird that they would offer and take a kicker, but maybe Bransetter isn't getting it done like they would like (cue banging head into desk) and they believe this tall person is the answer.
After doing some reading it seems like he kicked the snot out of the ball at the KU kicking camp (I didn't know they had one either, so don't feel bad) and Mangino and crew made him a high priority, so if the staff wants him then I want him and if he can consistently kick it threw the back of the end zone, color me excited.
