Brooks is an OLB, exactly what KU needs, and was a first team Juco All American.
Chose KU over OU, Tenn, Auburn and others. So it appears the kid can play to say the least.
LB was one position that I have not felt super about but let's just say I slept a lot better last night knowing this.
If this isn't enough, Tanner Hawkinson is up to 285 (staff wants him at 290) so that's another question mark that is getting sewn up too.
Lastly, Rod Harris seems to be almost fully recovered from his knee injury, which is good because I really think he'll provide some great depth at WR.
