Tyshawn is a beast

Last year he had some moments where he was very freshmen like but he also mixed in some moments that made me (and others I'm sure) think this guy has a shot to be special.

Taylor just made the USA U19 team and from the reports of the tryouts he did well, very well.

Tyshawn is the type of player that could have a couple of big games in the tourney and get drafted.

While everyone is bumping gums about Cole and Sherron and X and how much better Marcus is, Tyshawn is flying under the radar and getting ready to take his game to the next level.

I'm sure you've heard how the most improvement you see from a college basketball player is from their Freshmen to Sophmore year, so he has that going for him.
He also will have more help around him, due to the improvement in Marcus and Markief's game and the addition of Xavier.
Throw in the fact that he gets to go against some top talent all summer and have more competition in practice when he is being guarded by CJ Henry and Elijah Johnson instead of Tyrel Reed and Brendan Bechard-
Add all that up and Tyshawn Taylor seems poised to break out in a big big way.

Some mock drafts, most notably Draftexpress.com are projecting him as a first rounder in 2010 and even higher if he decides to stay and leave after his Junior campaign.

Its going to be a special season in Lawrence.

Amen! Let the Ferrari loose and put the pedal to the metal. The guy has some serious after burners on him. If he could become more of a consistent all around player, he could possibly go loto in 11 or 12. The sky is the limit for this Jersey kid. Can't wait to see the documentary on his HS team.

Agreed guy has wheels. Having a backcourt of him and EJ is scary. You have to love how Self continues to bring in guys with superior physical gifts and uses them to create matchup problems.
